In keeping with my Chandelier obsession:

Happy Colored Marbles, 2008

The Queen Anne's Revenge, 2008

The Green Fuzz Series

The Argus, 2008

Lady Pinkwater, 2008

I give you local Philadelphia artist, Adam Wallacavage's Octopus chandeliers. I love the attention to detail and the way the chandeliers come to life in their environment. There is a strange grandeur about them that makes me feel like they'd fit in an upper class Victorian or Edwardian era home perfectly.

Wallacavage works in other media as well like photography and screenprinting.

  1. YEAH Wallacavage! I actually randomly discovered his work last year, and posted one of his Medusa heads over the summer. Have you read about him? He's insane...and evidently we share a huge obsession with Gothic churches and Catholic reliquaries. The first one is one I hadn't seen before, but I think it's the one I like the best. Maybe cause it looks like a cake. Lauren

  2. Yes! While I was still in school, just before graduating and moving back here a professor suggested I check out Space 1026.

The first one is very cake-like!
